Damask Divas Blog Hop: Flirty for Christmas!

Time for another Damask Divas Blog Hop! If you're coming from Mandy's blog you're in the right place! This month is the super cute Flirty paper pack. It's so versatile. For this project, I used the New England Ivy side to accent these little Christmas tags.

The tag (cut at 3"), scalloped circle (cut at 1.75), and regular circle (cut at 1.25") are all from Art Philosophy and the mini tag (cut at 1") around the ribbon is from Artiste (which also has scalloped circles and regular circles).

I went for a more vintage/distressed look with the "warmest wishes" tag and a more tradition clean cut look with the "ho ho ho" tag. Same cuts for both just different embellishments.

The "peace" and "joy" on the mini tags are from Countdown along with the dots circle frame. The "warmest wishes" and "ho ho ho" are from Perfect Fit-Holidays and the double line circle frame is from Perfect-Fit Halloween. The tiny snowflakes are from the retired set Holiday Magic and the swirls are from Instant Memories

I used the inks Cocoa, Whisper, Champagne, and Vineyard Berry (retired).

I finished the "ho ho ho" tag with color-ready seam binding ribbon (died with Vineyard Berry and heat set- I highly recommend this otherwise it takes forever to dry) and two little jingle bells tied on with some hemp cord. The "warmest wishes" tag got a little cocoa button with hemp cord and some adhesive sparkles in the middle of the snowflakes. I also inked the edges and ran over them with an edge distresser.

Now off to Sharon's blog!
The entire hop list is posted on the Damask Divas blog

Mojo Monday 261: Halloween Card with Artiste

I love Halloween crafts! I just had to make something spooky for Mojo Monday!
The web, jack-o-lantern face, and circles are all from Artiste which has a ton of great Holiday cuts.
The stamp sets I used were  Perfect Fit-Halloween and So Grateful. The pumpkin was stamped in goldrush, the stem in slate, the "Oct. 31st" tag in sweet leaf, and "Happy Halloween" in black. I inked the edges of everything with black and sponged some goldrush and sweet leaf on the card base and circles. The patterned paper is from Moonlight. I cut it into a 3-point banner to seem a bit more Halloween-esk. I wrapped string around the base a few times and tied it off with a bow.

These are some of the cute Halloween cuts. You can view the entire handbook online.

I love all the Perfect Fit stamp sets! There's also Perfect Fit-Holidays and Perfect Fit-Frames! All of which coordinate with Artiste to make assembly super easy!
