Damask Divas Blog Hop: Buzz and Bumble

Happy Easter Everyone! I hope your day was fabulous!

It's the beginning of a new month, and the Damask Divas are just buzzing with excitement over this new paper pack! Buzz and Bumble is perfect for spring and summer projects. It has small touches of yellows and oranges for brightness but also gives off that classic/vintage feel from the pattern designs and warm browns and cremes.

If you're coming from Mandy's blog you're in the right spot! If you just stumbled in you can find the start on the Damask Divas blog.

I kept this card simple. I love working with white space lately but also wanted to show off the many beautiful patterned papers in this pack. To do both, I layered banners cut from different papers. I mixed the type of cuts and curled the ends for some depth. The wreath/crest image in the background was selectively inked to leave out the sentiment in the middle before being stamped. The main sentiment/frame image was fussy cut then popped up on foam tape. I added a mini clothes pin and some buttons with twine for embellishment.

Now off to Traci's blog for more wonderful projects with Buzz and Bumble!
